December 5, 2005, IPEDS Finance for Public Institutions Using GASB 34/35 - This invitational session for keyholders will describe the IPEDS collection of finance data for public postsecondary institutions that use GASB accounting standards. We will review the types of financial data collected, the sources for the data, and potential problems that may be encountered. We will also talk about component units and how to handle systems that are jointly audited.
December 5, 2005, IPEDS Finance for Private Not-for-profit Institutions and Public Institutions Using FASB Accounting Standards - This invitational session for keyholders will describe the IPEDS collection of finance data for postsecondary institutions that use FASB accounting standards. We will review the types of financial data collected, the sources for the data, and potential problems that may be encountered when responding to the finance component. We will address the dreaded operation and maintenance of plant question.

November 28, 2005, IPEDS Finance for Private For-profit Institutions - This invitational session for keyholders will describe the IPEDS collection of finance data for proprietary institutions. We will review the types of financial data collected, the sources for the data, and potential problems that may be encountered when responding to the finance component, including how to report institutions that are audited jointly with other institutions.
