Each year the AIR Membership Committee selects two doctoral students to receive the Cameron Fincher Award or the Charles I. Brown Award for an Outstanding Dissertation Grant Proposal. Cameron Fincher was a founder of the Association and Charles I. Brown was one of the first members. Each recipient is introduced to the membership at the Annual AIR Forum.
