Job dutiesUsing social research principles, methods and processes to conduct inquiries on University data;
Supporting the needs of enrollment management, student success, strategic planning and institutional effectiveness by developing operational data models and reports;
Creating data reports for campus decision-makers on key performance metrics such as enrollment, retention, graduation, space utilization, and cost analysis;
IPEDS reporting support;
Supporting custom survey development, administration, and analyses;
Contributing to data projects of the Institutional Analytics Development Team;
Responding to ad hoc data requests from within the university community;
Providing technical support for the University reporting to the UNC System Office.
QualificationsCandidates should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, five years of experience in higher education institutional research, or have comparable experience, strong experience managing, working with, and reporting on data, including proficiency using Structured Query Language (SQL), and use of data visualization platforms, such as Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or SAS Visual Analytics.
Salary range$60,000 - $80,000
