IPEDS Workshops
IPEDS Workshops are face-to-face training sessions for IPEDS data providers and users. IPEDS is the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, a system of interrelated surveys conducted annually by the U.S. Department’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). IPEDS gathers information from every college, university, and technical and vocational institution that participates in the federal student financial aid programs.
Possible workshop topics include:
- Leading (Managing) an IPEDS Cycle
- IPEDS Data as the Public Face of an Institution
- IPEDS Data and Benchmarking: Supporting Decision Making and Institutional Effectiveness
- IPEDS Finance Training
Workshops may also include special topics.
Workshops are co-hosted by AIR and other higher education organizations and are provided at no charge to the co-host and workshop participants. Funding is provided by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
