AIR relies on member volunteers to share their knowledge, expertise, and advice to enhance our services to members. Volunteers often report that service to AIR increases their professional network and returns value greater than their investments of time.
More than 650 members participated in volunteer roles in 2012-2013. See below for ways you can help AIR move forward in 2013-2014. Opportunities will be updated throughout the year, and you may revise your volunteer preferences at any time.

eAIR (MONTHLY NEWSLETTER)

Assist AIR in identifying, writing, or reviewing Tech Tips for AIR's electronic monthly newsletter. Tech Tips provide solutions (often supported by step-by-step instructions) to software and technology issues facing IR and assessment professionals.
eAIR Visual Display of Data Contributors
Assist AIR in developing a recent addition to eAIR, the electronic monthly newsletter. This feature offers member-submitted examples of visual displays of data that represent effective practice in communicating IR results. Help to continue populating an online collection of real-world examples of visual displays of data (e.g. charts, graphs, maps, tables, pictures), submit examples of visual displays of data for possible inclusion on the website, and actively participate in the website by commenting on submissions.
Assist AIR in reviewing prospective publications and surveys. Peer reviewers provide feedback on the planning, organization, structure, and content of articles, books, monographs, papers, and surveys.
Keep me informed about future volunteer opportunities
Assist AIR with future volunteer opportunities as they arise by providing feedback or expertise in areas such as member scholarships, the selection of our Outstanding Service Award recipient, mentoring, publishing, and more.
