eAIR Monthly Newsletter
AIR members receive a subscription to eAIR, the Association’s electronic monthly newsletter. eAIR provides timely educational news, surveys, and special features highlighting IR and related fields, with links to additional content on the eAIR website.
Online Interaction and Resources
In addition to reading online content, AIR members have the exclusive opportunity to participate in online discussions, access the AIR membership directory and take advantage of online networking opportunities. Members also have access to breaking news and other specific member content.
Each AIR membership is held by an individual as the member of record. Professional, Graduate Student, and Honorary memberships may be transported to a new address if a change in employment occurs during the membership year.
In addition, a Professional membership paid for by a unit/department/employer may be assigned to a replacement employee if a position vacancy occurs. Both the original member of record and the replacement member have full AIR memberships to assure access to AIR services during a period of transition. Note: A position change within the same unit/department does not qualify for a membership reassignment.
*The AIR membership year runs from July 1 to June 30 and memberships are not prorated. A 2013-2014 membership is a prerequisite for attending the 2013 Forum, May 18-22, and access to online conference materials. All other membership benefits begin July 1, 2013. Once ordered, membership cannot be refunded or cancelled. Graduate Student members enjoy all the advantages of AIR membership but cannot hold AIR elected office or vote in the annual elections.
