Things to Know Before You Go

Registration Desk and Bag Pick-up:

Forum registration will be located at the Imperial Registration Desk on the Marquis Level as follows:

Friday, May 29	4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, May 30	7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, May 31	7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Monday, June 1	7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 2	8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, June 3	8:00 a.m. – Noon

The AIR Lounge:

The AIR Lounge is the official Forum networking hub. The AIR Lounge, room M102 on the Marquis Level, will be open throughout the Forum. The AIR Lounge will have a seating area for you to meet with your colleagues between sessions. This will also be the location for the volunteer and newcomers orientation, baseball ticket pick up and the community message board. An AIR staff member will be present to assist you with any questions you may have. The Lounge will be open the same hours as the Registration Desk.

The AIR Exhibit Hall:

The Exhibit Hall will be open during the following hours:

Sunday, May 31	2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
	7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Monday, June 1	8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, June 2	8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The Exhibit Hall will be host to the following activities:

• Internet Kiosks will be available for use by attendees to access the Web, the “Build My Schedule” tool and e-mail.
• The New AIR Store and Publications Bookstore. Check out the updated inventory of AIR clothing and gifts for yourself or colleagues back home. AIR publications are also available at a 20% discount.
• The Employment Clearinghouse
• Poster Sessions
• Beverage breaks on Monday morning and afternoon and on Tuesday morning.

General Ground Transportation Information to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis:

Participants arriving by air should fly into Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Please visit www.atlanta-airport.com for more information.

Airport Shuttle Service: The Atlanta Link Shuttle service is located near the Delta Baggage Claim South Terminal; exit through doors S-5 or S-6 and the vehicles are located in the middle island. The Shuttle departs the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport every 15 minutes. Rates are approximately $16.50 one way and $29.00 roundtrip to the downtown service areas. The Atlanta Link Shuttle runs from 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 a.m. 7 days a week. Tickets are available for purchase at the Atlanta Link ticketing/customer service counter at the top of the escalators in the Ground Transportation Information Center, located near baggage claim. Public Transportation: Available via MARTA from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to the Peachtree Center MARTA Station, located 0.1 miles from the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Hilton Atlanta. The Airport MARTA Station is located in the west end of the Airport’s main terminal and fair gates are right off baggage claim. One way fares are only $1.75. MARTA runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. (last train leaves the airport at 1:00 a.m.), Saturdays from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (last train leaves airport at 1:05 a.m.) and Sundays from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (last train leaves the airport at 12:46 a.m.) Trains depart every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 15-20 minutes on weekends. Taxi Service: Taxi service is available from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport to the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and Hilton Atlanta for approximately $30.00 each way. A charge of $2.00 will be charged for each additional person. Taxi service is located in the Red Bus aisle. Please call 404-762-6087 for more information.

Rental Car Service: The following rental car companies have registration counters located on the first floor in the Atrium. Once you have made reservations at the ticket counter, go outside to the Ground Transportation Center and catch the shuttle bus to the car pickup area. You will find this shuttle on the Yellow Bus Isle located at the west curb between the North and South Terminals in the Ground Transportation Center.
