Through its three locations - the Fauquier and Middletown Campuses and the Luray-Page County Center - the College serves eight localities in the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont regions. The localities are the counties of Clarke, Fauquier, Frederick, Page, Rappahannock, Shenandoah and Warren and the city of Winchester.
LFCC offers more than 75 associate degree and certificate programs in a wide variety of disciplines, in addition to providing access to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs offered on site by a four-year institution. LFCC also serves the business community by offering workforce preparation programs for employees and employers. LFCC serves more than 7,600 unduplicated credit students and more than 10,450 individuals in professional development and business and industry courses annually. Job Duties: Reporting directly to the President, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting all activities related to institutional effectiveness and strategic planning, including assessment of student learning, enrollment management, research, accreditation, and reporting. This position will have a strong focus on the analysis of institutional data to support the College planning and decision-making process, and for assuring that the College educational assessment program is of the highest possible quality. Qualifications: The successful applicant will possess thorough knowledge of research methodology, survey development, statistics, assessment mechanisms, and qualitative research techniques with the ability to apply these skills to the higher education environment. Critical skills include strong oral, written, and presentation skills, demonstrated experience using statistical and other software tools to manipulate large amounts of data, and the ability to manage and prioritize projects and assignments. Experience in leading collaborative efforts in planning and assessment in a higher education environment required. Required Qualifications: Possession of a Bachelor's Degree in statistics or one of the disciplines in social science with an emphasis on research from an accredited college or university. Two to five years professional experience in institutional research preferably in higher education. Preferred Qualifications: Possession of a Master's or PhD Degree in statistics or one of the disciplines in social science with an emphasis on research from an accredited college or university.
