For more information, please visit our Web site. Job Duties: 1. Conducts institutional research, assessment, and accountability processes such as data analyses, surveys, Strengths-Weaknesses-Opportunities-Threats (SWOT), environmental scans.
2. Understands and keeps current with all Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) criteria and assists with appropriate research.
3. Serves as a resource person for survey procedures and design.
4. Maintains necessary databases.
5. Assists with the development and production of documents such as the Institutional Fact Book, Progress Reports and Critical Success Factors.
6. Ensures that reports and documents are proofread accurately and submitted for internal review in time to meet deadlines.
7. Writes institutional grant proposals at the direction and approval of the Associate Dean.
8. Conducts research on and apprises faculty and staff of grant funding opportunities.
9. Serves as a resource person to faculty and staff for assistance with grant preparation. Conducts grant-writing workshops for faculty and staff.
10. Assists with grant reporting and serves as liaison to funding sources for funded grants, as appropriate.
11. Maintains the College's Title III eligibility and monitors Title III funding opportunities.
12. Assists with program reviews.
13. Assists with internal management of Strategic Planning Online (SPOL) and other software programs. Qualifications: Required: Master’s Degree from a regionally-accredited institution; minimum of two years of full-time job experience in institutional research to include responsibilities in institutional planning, assessment, and grant writing; demonstrated knowledge of educational measurement issues including statistical analysis and the use of spreadsheet, database, and statistical software applications; satisfactory criminal history background check.
Preferred: Demonstrated knowledge of SPSS software; experience with documentation required for regional higher education accreditation. Salary/Benefits: Salary Range: $56,661 - $59,494.05 annually.
