Job Duties: Design and maintain databases, studies, analyses, reports, and models in support of institutional decision making, the strategic planning process, program review, and accreditation. Complete external agency surveys and respond to requests for data and information. Contribute to the development and use of the Institutional Research Data Mart and the University's centralized information system. Manage departmental budget. Maintain the departmental web page.

Qualifications: Five years of experience supporting business processes, report development, data preparation, and data analysis, preferably in a higher education setting. Bachelor's degree. Master's degree preferred. Advanced knowledge of relational databases and experience designing, maintaining, and reporting from large databases with multiple tables. Knowledge of research design, methods, sampling, statistics, and analytical strategies used in the field of Institutional Research. Experience with data marts and data mart reporting tools. Experience extracting and evaluating data from multiple sources using query tools and programming language. Excellent organizational abilities. Advanced skills in MS Access, WinSQL, MS Excel, MSWord, MS PowerPoint, and Windows XP. Proficiency with Dreamweaver and HTML. Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools (Cognos Report Studio preferred). Knowledge of PeopleSoft administrative systems applications and tools.
