The college offers Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Master of Architecture, Master of Arts, Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Fine Arts and Master of Urban Design degrees, as well as undergraduate and graduate certificates. The five-year professional M.Arch. degree is accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board. The Master of Arts in Teaching degrees offered by SCAD are approved by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission.

Job Duties: SCAD seeks a top leader in institutional effectiveness to assist in the strategic growth of SCAD in the role of executive director of institutional effectiveness. The executive director will work closely with the vice president of institutional effectiveness to direct and implement a comprehensive and integrated program of activities and services that will help the university fulfill its vision to be a world leader in education. In this role, the executive director will serve as one of the primary advisers on institutional effectiveness as related to strategic planning, assessment, institutional research, and accreditation for assigned schools and departments. This new role for the university requires someone who can conceptualize, initiate and implement projects that support the growth, achievement and quality enhancement of the university. The person in this position will have demonstrated the ability to plan and oversee all accreditation projects for assigned schools and departments, including reports, reaffirmation, and site visits, to ensure the continuous effectiveness of accreditation relationships and to be able to serve as accreditation liaison to SACS and other specialized accreditors in the vice president's absence.. Other duties include assisting in establishing and maintaining best practices in art and design and higher education and assisting assigned academic departments in maintaining compliance with accreditation standards, principles, criteria and processes. The ideal candidate will have seven or more years of demonstrated experience relevant to the position. The position requires a Ph.D. or other appropriate terminal degree.
