Job Duties: The Senior Research Associate conducts quantitative and qualitative research projects and produces routine and customized reports to respond to College needs. This individual has direct responsibility for conducting research related to academic and instructional policies and practices.

Works on State and Federal reporting such as Perkins reports, State Accountability reports, and Placement and Follow-up reports.

Prepares internal summaries and reports from internal College data sources as well as National, State and Local data sources.

Meets with College users to develop research projects, conducts research, prepares and presents results.

Carries out independent educational research projects from conceptualization of research design, planning, data analysis and interpretation, through the final written report.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Educational Research, Psychology, or related field from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years work experience in Institutional or Educational research.

Doctorate degree in related field preferred.

Sufficient experience in educational research design and statistical analysis to conduct independent research and data analysis required.

Excellent writing and research conceptualization skills.

Ability to work well with others through all phases of the research including presenting results.

Demonstrated word-processing, spreadsheet, database, and statistical software skills.

Knowledge of Miami Dade College data storage and retrieval processes preferred.

Experience with statistical software such as SAS preferred.

Experience with State and National datasets preferred.
