NACCAS accredits 1200 institutions training 100,000 students.
A board of 13 Commissioners sets policy and makes accreditation decisions. A staff of 34, headquartered in Alexandria, VA, implements accreditation procedures, conducts on-site evaluations of schools, and monitors school compliance with accreditation standards, including standards for student achievement.
For more information, please visit our Web site. Job Duties: The RT has primary responsibility for monitoring compliance with standards for student graduation, licensure, and placement. This includes providing technical assistance to institutions with outcomes rates falling below NACCAS benchmarks, analyzing their annual report back-up, and analyzing plans schools submit for improving student outcomes.
The RT helps design a survey to review two accreditation standards annually. The RT prepares comparisons of policies of other accrediting agencies. The RT conducts quality control studies to determine compliance with NACCAS procedures. Qualifications: * Min. Bachelor's Degree with some research and statistics * Ability to analyze documents * Ability to write cogent reports Salary/Benefits: * Starting salary is $43,000 * There is a choice of work schedules: 8-5, 9-6, or 10-7 M-F.
