Job Duties: Provide professional support in the coordination and administration of a variety of assessment, evaluation and reporting initiatives. Assist faculty and staff in academic programs and student services in developing, implementing and improving outcomes assessment and program evaluation. Project responsibilities also include external survey preparation and program rankings. Coordinate data development and collection and report submissions, maintain databases and documentation through collaborative interface with key stakeholders. Reports to the Director, Office of Decision Support who reports to the Assistant Dean, Academic Programs. Job Accountabilities • Assist in development/implementation of academic and administrative assessment and evaluation plans • Interface effectively with faculty, senior staff and administrative personnel. Coordinate key stakeholders and information collection • Assist in the planning and management of research reporting schedule • Employ appropriate descriptive statistical and qualitative methods to analyze data. • Prepare and maintain documentation for external and ad hoc reports • Develop, communicate and monitor compliance with report data collection and submission timelines • Effectively communicate technical information to broad audience utilizing graphic, verbal and written documentation Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications • BA/BS, 2-4 years of experience in institutional research and/or data analysis • Expertise in descriptive and intermediate statistical methods • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Demonstrated ability to translate statistical information for lay audiences • Expertise in database management and statistical software including Excel and SPSS.
