Job Duties: The Associate Director for Assessment Support reports to the Director of Institutional Research & Assessment. The Associate Director’s responsibilities and duties include:
* Managing Knox’s assessment plan in collaboration with departments and administrative offices, * Designing and developing a program assessment manual, * Conducting annual Summer Assessment Training Workshops for chairs and faculty, * Assisting departments in design, implementation and analysis of assessment plans, * Assisting faculty task force with design, implementation and analysis of assessment plans for key elements of academic programs, * Assisting the Director of Institutional Research in design, execution and analysis of special institutional research projects, * Attend annual team meetings with external evaluator. Qualifications: Master’s degree required; at least three years of related experience in educational assessment. The successful candidate will have experience with assessment theory and methodology. S/he should have a familiarity with the academic and administrative functioning of higher education institutions (preferably liberal arts colleges). S/he will have strong written and communication skills, ability to work effectively in collaboration with faculty, as well as independently with high levels of responsibility and an intellectual curiosity.
