Job Title: SENIOR RESEARCH COORDINATOR - American Public University System, Charles Town, WV

Job Duties:
* Manage the timely completion of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) surveys.
* Establish and initiate Institutional studies and analyses using the Data Analysis System (DAS) and/or Executive Peer Tool (ExPT).
* Collaborate with the Institutional Advancement Office to provide data for state certification reporting requirements.
* Create and maintain a project plan for all external reporting requirements including, but not limited to, IPEDS, Peterson’s, US News & World Report and College Board surveys.
* Perform and ensure the timely completion of all external reporting requirements and automate where possible.
* Collaborate with Information Technology regarding ongoing development of the Institutional Data Warehouse including the integration of external reporting metrics.
* Collaborate with Self-Study Steering Committee to identify data requirements in support of the Institutional reaccreditation processes.

Qualifications:
* Masters Degree preferred; Bachelors Degree (required) with appropriate experience will be considered.
* 2-3 years’ experience in Institutional Research or a similar field within a Higher Education Institution.
* Knowledge of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) is essential.
* Knowledge of the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Data Analysis System (DAS) and/or Executive Peer Tool (ExPT) is preferred.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Extensive knowledge of SQL language.
* Work with SQL Server databases, Data Warehouses and data extraction.
