Job Duties: The University of New Haven invites applications for a newly established position to support the office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Studies, Assessment, & Accreditation. Core duties include the coordination and oversight of data collection relating to assessment of learning outcomes; contribution to training of faculty and staff in the use of assessment mechanisms; contribution to design of assessment measures and instruments; and management of data bases for assessment data. Related duties concern lead or shared responsibility for ongoing survey programs; best practice research; development of E-Portfolio platform; support of general education assessment systems; providing data support for professional agency accreditation; management of co-curricular activity assessment; data support for periodic program review; and support of faculty committees that oversee curricular assessment. The curricular assessment duties will require interaction with other systems on campus focused on continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will possess a master’s degree and relevant experience in fields such as statistics, educational administration and assessment, or cognate areas. Applications should demonstrate effectiveness in training, research design, oral presentation, and collaborative problem-solving. Strong preference will be afforded applications with at least 5 years prior experience in institutional research and/or outcomes assessment in higher education, and familiarity with accreditation. Facility required with office software, data analysis software, academic management platforms, and web-based systems.
