Job Title: ASSESSMENT DIRECTOR - Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, TX

Institution: Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University is located in Lubbock, Texas. The college has undergraduate, masters, and doctoral programs in business.

Job Duties: The Rawls College of Business Assessment Director is responsible for systematically managing the Rawls College efforts to exceed assessment standards required by AACSB International; the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC); and the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) as well as completing other duties as assigned. This position involves the coordination of assessment of student learning in undergraduate majors, graduate programs and other programs offered by the College. The Assessment Director will be responsible, in conjunction with the faculty, for developing measureable student outcomes that make expectations explicit; setting appropriate criteria and high standards for learning; systematically gathering, analyzing and interpreting evidence to determine how well performance matches those expectations and standards; documenting the assessment process to the faculty including changes to programs that result from assessment; and completing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: The candidate is expected to have experience with the assessment of student learning, both at the course and program level. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with the assessment literature and well versed in methods of data analysis. A doctoral degree is strongly preferred.
