Job Duties: Reporting to the Vice President of Instructional Services, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for developing and monitoring a comprehensive program of institutional effectiveness which includes planning, research, the development and dissemination of analytical data related to academic, student, administrative, and developmental programs, data supportive of strategic planning, accreditation activities, enrollment trends, and required federal and state reports, research, design, analysis, and trend monitoring for institutional decision-making. The Director of Institutional Effectiveness is also responsible for facilitating the development and continued refinement of the College Master Plan and Strategic Plan and coordinating the reaffirmation process.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree or equivalent in statistics, mathematics, or one of the social sciences, or graduate level education and specialization in Planning, Management/Business Administration, Planning, Educational Planning, Social Analysis, or related field. Two years experience in assessing academic outcomes and/or conducting institutional or social science research. Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing computer applications, including statistical analysis, spreadsheet, word-processing, statistical software, and database software. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and demonstrated ability to produce significant reports/documents.
