Job Title: DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS - John Wood Community College, Quincy, IL

Job Duties: This position is required to complete reports, support research-related activities within the college, support planning activities, and be the primary source for reliable data about the college. Mandated reports include reporting to Illinois Community College Board, Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, and other state and federal agencies and the North Central Association Higher Learning Commission. Data gathering and reporting is done using surveys, data queries from the Banner database and web resources. Also supports assessment of student learning outcomes and institutional effectiveness outcomes. This position will work with various college committees such as Promotion, Recruitment, & Retention, and Senate Committee for Academic Assessment. Finally, this position completes surveys for college-related promotions such as American College Testing, the College Board and Petersons.

Qualifications: Requires a Master of Science degree, preferable in a social science field. Doctorate preferred. Must have minimum of 18 hours graduate-level statistic and research methodology coursework. Prefer three to five years of experience. Strong skills in MS Windows-based PC and incumbent software are required. Position also requires proficiency with Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (or Statistical Analysis Software), MS Access, Excel, Word and one or more computer program languages and manipulation of relational databases.
