The Office of University Evaluation at Arizona State University is a research and service facility which focuses on assessing and improving the effectiveness of the university's academic programs and conducting studies to support administrative decision making and planning. We are looking for a Management Research Analyst Senior to join our team. Job Duties: Participates as a member of a research team that conducts institutional research projects, including methodology, data collection analysis and implementation. Selects appropriate statistical tools. Analyzes quantitative and qualitative data. Writes technical reports. Summarize results for various audiences. Maintains detailed records of research activities, analyses and outcomes. Fills department/college data requests. Uses Data Warehouse to access student information. Ensures computability of data from various sources (e.g., interviews, surveys, documents reviews) and merges data from multiple files. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field AND five (5) years of experience in research, information analysis or program evaluation OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications: Experience working with: Hyperion's MyReports; the ASU data warehouse; Excel, Access, SPSS, and other data management and analysis software; Effective verbal and written communication skills; Program evaluation at both K-12 and higher education levels.
