Job Duties:
BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY
To provide data and data analyses intended to facilitate academic decision-making.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES
• Supervise activities associated with the coordination of Higher Education General Information Survey and Missouri Department of Higher Education reporting requirements.
• Assist in specifying and developing core sets of information to support academic administration, planning and evaluation.
• Assist the Campus Assessment Committee in reviewing and monitoring the University Assessment Plan; coordinate and manage assessment activities and ensure compliance with assessment plans.
• Plan, carry out and report results of ad hoc research and policy analysis projects.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Direction is received from the University Director of Institutional Research and Assessment.

SUPERVISION EXERCISED
Functional supervision is exercised over one office support staff and one graduate student.

Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
• A Master’s degree required in educational research, measurement, business administration, psychology, higher education, public administration, public policy or related field.
• Two to three years of experience in institutional research and/or assessment is necessary.
• A Doctorate degree is desirable and will substitute for research experience.
