We are currently accepting applications for the Senior Institutional Research Analyst position.

Job Duties: The Senior Institutional Research Analyst is a highly technical position serving as a bridge between institutional research, planning and institutional effectiveness, and information technology. This position works directly with the Director of Institutional Research and the Executive Director of Planning & Institutional Effectiveness in the gathering, management, analysis, interpretation and presentation of data and research findings. This position is responsible for developing and analyzing data which can not be easily verified and, if done incorrectly, could directly or indirectly result in substantial loss to the College in relation to federal accreditation, grants or other government/private funding, and enrollment. This position will coordinate and perform a variety of advanced analytical projects, often independently, as requested by College constituencies.

Qualifications: Master's degree in statistics, educational research or a quantitative social science field. 2 or more years experience in Institutional Research or a similar department in a higher education setting. Proficiency with statistical software, such as SPSS or SAS. Proficiency in querying, creating and maintaining working datasets from an ERP/student information system (e.g., Datatel, Banner, etc.). Proficiency with the development, management, and use of relational databases. Familiarity with longitudinal/trend designs, multivariate statistics, forecasting and predictive modeling. General proficiency in technology and the ability to work collaboratively with the Information Technology office. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Access. Ability to independently manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills.
