#29NCES Technical Review Panel to Discuss Expansion of Prepared: February 2005 Type: NCES Requests Suggestions for Additional Templates and for TRP Participants Summary The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) will hold a Technical Review Panel (TRP) meeting in March 2005 to discuss expanding the Report Templates function within the IPEDS Peer Analysis System (PAS). The NCES is seeking comments and suggestions about which additional templates would be useful, as well as expressions of interest in participating in the TRP. The PAS report templates function allows users to generate packaged reports for their institution and their peers. The current templates are available at http://nces.ed.gov/ipedspas under "Reports and Stats." Current Status Send comments and suggestions by February 25, 2005, to Susan Broyles, IPEDS Program Director at Susan.Broyles@ed.gov . The e-mail subject line should read: IPEDS Report Templates - Suggestions. If you are interested in serving on this TRP, include your interest with your comments and suggestions. Implications for Institutions Expanding the PAS Report Templates function can provide users with additional packaged reports that can be quickly generated. The TRP will discuss which templates would be useful to institutions.
