Job duties• Takes a leadership role in the development, implementation, and management of a data warehouse, and business intelligence (BI) and visualization tools, to promote the work of respective parties to the agreement;
• Works closely with Santa Fe Public Schools, Santa Fe Community Foundation, and SFCC stakeholders to develop dashboards of the community outcomes and other reports related to student and workplace success;
• Collects data and manages a shared database for on-going collaborative use, analysis, and informational updates;
• Creates and maintains community-level indicators & data dashboards on key issue areas defined by contracting partners, providing evidence of data sources;
• Conducts detailed data analysis and create visualization and presentation materials as needed, including analyses of trends, comparisons, and mapping across the community that can be used to catalyze and support data-driven conversations and strategies to improve outcomes;
• Provides technical support, business process analysis, scripting, and programming to ensure complete alignment and mapping across community;
• Conducts and manages transitional data analysis across institutions from education to career placement;
• Participates in data integrity projects relating to student and workforce data;
• Maintains institutional databases and presents data and/or information required for external reporting to national, state and local agencies, as well as for internal reporting to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, the NMHED electronic Data Editing and Reporting system, and the Higher Learning Commission, among others;
• Prepares reports on student demographics, enrollment statistics, faculty workload, course information and state funding formula-related data across the P-20 pipeline;
• Provides data and reports for internal grant writing and compliance, planning and research purposes as well as for purposes that support the B2C collaboration;
• Provides analysis of enrollment data, student demographic data, workforce data, survey data, and marketing data across the P-20 pipeline;
• Coordinates graduate surveys and graduate employer surveys;
• Participates in the maintenance of the Planning and Institutional Effectiveness web pages;
• Prepares data sets for Academic Department Program Review;
• Prepares analysis of data and present findings to both the internal and external key stakeholders; and
• Adheres to all privacy acts (e.g., Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the highest standards governing the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of statistical data.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field
• Three (3) years experience in institutional research, data collection, analysis, reporting, and data visualization (preferably Tableau)
• Equivalent related experience or education may be substituted for education or experience on a year-for-year basis

• Familiarity with data sources from early childhood, education, economic, socio-economic, health and other indicators and data
• Experience using an enterprise resource management system.
• Experience with project management
• Experience with either Structured Query Language (SQL) or similar script writing

• Knowledge of data systems, definitions and procedures.
• Knowledge of statistical and analytical survey instruments, protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of college policies and procedures.
• Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs.
• Skill in decision making and problem solving.
• Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.
• Skill in oral and written communication.
• Skill in the preparation of reports.
• Ability to gather and analyze statistical data and to generate reports.

Salary range$40,000 - $60,000
