Job dutiesThe Department of Educational Studies at Ball State University is seeking applicants for a full-time tenure track faculty member in Research Methodology with expertise in research methods, institutional research in higher education, and program evaluation. The faculty member will teach graduate courses in support of two doctoral programs (the Ed.D. in Adult, Higher, and Community Education, & the Ph.D. in Educational Studies), multiple masters degrees, and a certificate in institutional research.
QualificationsMinimum qualifications: Earned doctorate in research methods, higher education, educational policy studies, adult education, or closely related field from an accredited college or university; relevant and successful teaching experience or potential to teach research courses designed to serve multiple graduate programs in higher education; relevant and successful professional service; an established research agenda; commitment to diverse learners.

Preferred qualifications: Experience in research methods, institutional research in higher education, and/or program evaluation; refereed publications; chaired doctoral committees/served on doctoral committees; experience teaching using on-campus and distance-learning course delivery methods; experience working with international, multicultural, and diverse learners.
