Job dutiesReporting to the Director of Institutional Research & Effectiveness, the Compliance Officer / Title IX Coordinator will serve as the lead in ensuring the college is operating in line with all federal, state, and accreditor recommendations and mandates. The incumbent will be responsible for working with the College community as a resource for answering questions on legislative developments and holding a working knowledge of local, state, federal and accreditation regulations as they relate to higher education compliance.

Specifically, this individual will research, analyze and communicate the impact of laws and regulations on PA College operations. The incumbent will also lead efforts to recommend and support required changes to assure ongoing compliance with regulations. Also, this individual will work diligently to guide the review and revision of policies and procedures relevant to compliance requirements.

Serving as Title IX Coordinator, this individual will be responsible for coordinating the institution’s compliance with federal and state discrimination and sexual harassment laws. They will coordinate educational programs regarding discrimination and sexual harassment prevention as well as to oversee the response, investigation, and resolution to allegations of discrimination and sexual harassment. While providing leadership to the Title IX team and serve as main contact to College Community for Title IX.

The ideal candidate will have; an excellent grasp of higher education and public interest laws and regulations, excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and composition skills, excellent research, problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong attention to detail.
QualificationsPosition Requirements

Master’s in Business Administration, Legal Studies or related field; Juris Doctor preferred,
At least 1-3 years demonstrated experience in higher education compliance;
Previous compliance and/or legal experience.
