Job dutiesReinhardt University seeks a Director of Institutional Research & Effectiveness. This position is located on the main campus in Waleska, GA. The Director Institutional Research & Effectiveness is responsible for providing leadership for institutional research and reporting; strategic, tactical and operational planning; program assessments; SACSCOC accreditation; institutional and organizational effectiveness and student learning outcomes.

Major job responsibilities include:
• Providing oversight and supervision for institutional planning, assessment, research, evaluation strategies, trend analysis for environmental scanning and accreditation processes;
• Ensuring that reports provide meaningful, appropriate and accurate data and supporting documentation is available to meet the decision-making needs of the University;
• Developing and implementing a system for institutional strategic planning and coordination of the annual assessment reports, planning and budgeting process with University leadership;
• Compiles, analyzes and disseminates quantitative data on facets of the University and related educational issues, including areas such as institutional characteristics, enrollments, student retention, student transfer activities, enrollment projections, grades, and other student performance indicators and fiscal affairs;
• Coordinates, compiles and submits annual IPEDS reports as required;
• Develops and coordinates University-wide systems of academic review.
QualificationsQualifications for this position include: a minimum of a Master’s Degree with 5 years of professional experience in quantitative and qualitative research, statistical analysis and reporting; knowledge of state and national higher education issues; academic & student development programs; curriculum development; accreditation requirements; current theory and practice in institutional research; development of assessment tools & methods of measurement and management information systems. Must be able to work effectively with University administration and faculty; organize the collection, filing, and analysis of data; present complex material orally and in writing; and have excellent computer skills including familiarity with Higher Education Enterprise Systems such as Jenzabar and data analysis software such as SPSS, Excel and Access.
