Job dutiesReporting to the Director of Research and Assessment in the Division of Student Services and Enrollment Management (SSEM), the Assistant Director is responsible for developing and maintaining assessment reporting for continuous improvement, working on ad hoc projects, and working with client departments on custom assessment needs. This position requires a detailed understanding of how to administer assessments, pull data from a relational database, analyze and report data and information for strategic decision making.

This position is responsible for collaborating on and independently guiding strategic decisions related to assessing the performance of departments, strategic goal setting, and other important SSEM decisions in consultation with the AVPs and Directors.



This position will be responsible for gathering, assessing, analyzing, and reporting data to provide recommendations that will lead to the achievement of the division’s strategic goals.

Must be able to use independent judgment to accept, manage, and prioritize projects from all the client divisions. This strategic position will be an active participant in discussions when making top-level decisions in the division around department assessment, individual team member assessment, and strategic planning.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field
• Two (2) years of experience in assessment or strategic planning activities
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and data analysis
• Demonstrated project management skills
Salary range$40,000 - $60,000
Salary benefitsThis is a full-time position. We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible. Salary is commensurate with experience based on a full-time (12 month) salary of $53,000–$63,000. Excellent benefits.
