Job dutiesThe Survey Data Analyst supports the college’s institutional effectiveness functions. Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: supporting survey research; collecting, analyzing and comparing data for institutional reporting purposes; gathering relevant institutional data for grant proposals and other activities necessary to complete internal and external reports and surveys. This position reports to the Research and Reporting Manager.

Given survey results, design reports to provide meaningful data with clear analysis in support of data-driven decision-making at an institutional level.

Assist in the preparation of online surveys and the collection of data necessary to complete internal and external project reports and surveys.

Provide accurate and replicable data for external benchmarking reports (such as the National Community College Benchmarking Project, the Voluntary Framework of Accountability and the Student Achievement Measure).

Facilitate survey development, coordination, reporting and analytics for annual and special surveys

Assist in the data collection and analysis for annual projects including Fast Facts, program review, Student Right to Know (SRTK) analysis and the Demographic Snapshot Report.

Support data and report creation and dissemination. Prepare accurate and concise table and figures given appropriate sources.

Perform other duties as assigned.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of three years of related experience required, preferably in an educational setting.

Experience with MS Office Suite with well-developed computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet applications, Access databases, and data entry.

Experience with SPSS data analysis software required.

Excellent analytical, mathematic, communication and organizational skills required.

Ability to work accurately and independently.
