Founded in September, 1867 in Blue Island as the Normal School, Cook County’s first teacher training school, the institution has evolved into the comprehensive university that it is today. Its main campus, located on the northwest side of Chicago, opened in 1961 and was then called Chicago Teachers College North. In 1971, the college became Northeastern Illinois University. Job dutiesUnder the direction and supervision of the Executive Director, this position will implement the Starfish Early Alert and Signal Vine Digital Messaging Systems for the project team of Institutional Research and Assessment.
QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s Degree
Minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in software system implementation in higher education
Experience working with personnel, processes, policies and structures in higher education
Experience in advising alert reporting tolls
Proficient in quantitative data analysis, Microsoft Excel, and SPSS

Twenty-four semester hours of college credit for coursework in computer science, mathematics, or related field, with specialization in operations research and/or mathematical modeling, and including twelve semester hours of credit in mathematical modeling and/or mathematical programming.
Salary range$40,000 - $60,000
Salary benefitsComprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision benefits, sick and vacation days, the participation in the State Universities Retirement System.
