10 quick tips on how to get started in the virtual event platform:
Know Before You Go
Check Your Inbox: You will receive an email inviting you into the virtual event platform, where you can set up your user profile, view sessions, and build your schedule. Need help logging in or resetting your password? Email email@example.com.
Access the Conference: You can access the full event directly from your browser. The platform functions best in Chrome or Edge browsers, so we encourage you to download Chrome or Edge for the best experience.
Scheduling Tips: Keep in mind the schedule at a glance is listed in U.S. Eastern Time Zone (ET). The virtual event platform schedule builder will allow you to adjust your time zone. Once you’ve added sessions to your schedule, visit “My Schedule” in the virtual event platform menu and click “Add to Personal Calendar” to put a reminder on your email calendar.
Leverage the Exhibit Hall: Visit the exhibit hall during the scheduled exhibit hall hours, attend expert meetings and showcase sessions with sponsors, engage in sponsor chats in booths, download resources, and participate in their virtual raffles. Make connections here to help make your job easier this year.
Don’t Stress if You Miss a Session: Sessions become on-demand following their simulated-live or live debut. Additionally, there are several previously selected on-demand sessions and posters available to view from the start of the conference. Your registration grants you on-demand access to conference sessions and materials until June 30, so you have plenty of time to view content when it’s convenient for you.
If You Need Help: A tech support chat window will be available in the bottom right-hand corner of your browser Tuesday, May 25 (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET), Wednesday, May 26 (10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. ET), and Thursday, May 27 (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET). In addition, staff will be present at the AIR Help Desk throughout the event. See the help desk schedule in the session listing.
