Data Warehouse Analyst

Application Procedure:

Job Duties

  1. Document functional requirements, system design specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, and interface designs
  2. Design conceptual, logical and physical data models
  3. Work with IT teams, business analysts and data analytics teams to understand data consumers’ needs and develop solutions
  4. Develops dimensional models, OLAP structures, ETL, and reports
  5. Provides support for data analysis and presentation tools
  6. Perform root cause analysis on all processes, resolve all production issues, validate all data, perform routine tests on databases, and provide support to all ETL applications

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, management information systems, information technology, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in data integration, SQL programming, database management or development; or equivalent combination of education and experience with Three (3) years of work experience in database systems (Oracle or MS SQL Server)
  • Demonstrate a strong background in data warehouse design and implementation
  • Agile experience
  • Exposure and deep understanding of conceptual, Logical and Physical model is a Must
  • Experience in querying and analyzing data using SQL 
  • Experience with data modeling and architecture

Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or management information systems

Five (5) years of work experience in an institutional research, or enrollment management office
