Job Duties

Develops, prepares, analyzes and presents institutional information in order to support the mission and vision of enrollment management at Clemson University. Performs other duties as assigned.

45% - Essential
Analyses and Reporting: Provides insight to enrollment management leadership that helps to advance strategic goals outlined in the Clemson Forward and Strategic Enrollment plans. Develops, reports, analyzes, and visualizes metrics such as admissions, scholarship effectiveness, enrollment, classroom utilization; Essential degrees awarded, success patterns, and graduation rates. Leads data preparation, analysis, and visualization and for leadership. Provides benchmarking information.

30% - Essential
Data Management: Works with campus partners to help develop and ensure consistent availability, structuring, maintenance, and deployment of campus-wide data management and governance protocols. Collaborates with data stewards and analyst specialists/business analysts/strategic data managers in other University offices that impact or are involved in data governance and analytics. Supports the University's emerging Enterprise Information Management roadmap.

15% - Essential
Monitoring: Monitors and evaluates external, institutional, and student data to identify existing or potential challenges and recommend constructive program and policy initiatives across enrollment management. Supports internal data needs related to monitoring compliance with policies, supporting academic progress monitoring, and similar tasks. Serves as a thought leader and proactive member of the Associate VP's leadership team.

Leadership: Serves as a member of the Enrollment Management Leadership Team responsible for the strategic direction and goal-setting. Advises the Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management

Job Qualifications

Minimum: A bachelor's degree and supervisory or managerial experience in a planning, research or statistical setting.

Preferred: Master's Degree and 3+ computer science, data science/analytics, info systems, data visualization
