A 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the RP Group is a remote, but tight-knit, organization, with staff members working throughout the state of California. For more than 25 years, the RP Group has worked to improve institutional effectiveness, student success, and equity throughout the California Community Colleges (CCCs). Run by and for community college practitioners, the RP Group strengthens the ability of the CCCs to improve evidence-based decision making.
The RP Group is known for its work on research projects such as Student Support (Re)defined, Multiple Measures Assessment Project, and the Through the Gate Transfer study. Each fall, the organization hosts the Strengthening Student Success Conference, providing a unique opportunity for a wide cross-section of CCC professionals — including faculty, deans, program directors, student services staff, researchers and planners — to engage each other about strategies for building institutional effectiveness, supporting student learning, and increasing equitable outcomes. The RP Group has a strong network of supporters and advocates primed to disseminate findings and amplify change.
