Job Duties

Primary Duties to Include:

  • Collaborate with end users to define and capture reporting requirements

  • Develop new reports based on user requirements

  • Write queries to extract data from operational and warehouse data sources

  • Modify and maintain existing report catalog

  • Monitor performance of reports

  • Increase the efficiency of existing reports through data consolidation and data analysis

  • Validate reports and query results to ensure accuracy and quality

  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot reporting system issues

  • Produce documentation for new and modified reports

Job Qualifications

Preference may be given to those who possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems and experience in higher education.  Knowledge of or experience with Banner Student Information System and/or the Argos Reporting System.  Prior report writing experience is also a plus.

The Office of Decision Support Services is looking to recruit a Data Administrator for the Atlanta, GA campus. This is an intermediate level position that will support the increasing demand for operational reporting at the university.  This position will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and reporting student data to all units across the campus.   The position requires an independent thinker capable of working in a collaborative team-oriented environment interacting with all levels of administration, faculty and staff.
