Job Duties

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Planning and Institutional Effectiveness, the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and State Authorizations will work closely with senior administration, faculty, staff, and state regulatory agencies. This position is responsible for the research, project management, and outreach associated with maintaining all necessary state authorization requirements for all University programs. The Director will also provide support to the Office of Institutional Effectiveness in the areas of assessment, academic program review, and regional accreditation.

Job Qualifications

Minimum: A terminal degree from a regionally accredited institution; *3 years of experience with state authorization, licensure, or regulatory affairs in a higher education setting; *experience applying for and obtaining state authorization for a higher education institution; *ability to prepare comprehensive reports for multiple constituencies; *strong knowledge of institutional accreditation, program approval, and professional licensure processes; *experience in higher education assessment and evaluation; *strong problem solving and analytical skills.

 

Preferred: experience in SACSCOC accreditation.
