The job involves qualitative and quantitative analyses of data, examination of related and unrelated situations, drawing conclusions, devising solutions and alternatives and making recommendations in a timely manner to support institutional planning, policy formulation and decision making. The position engages in examination of internal and external data sources to study performance indicators and student outcomes data, and writes reports (with graphs/tables or other visuals) to present and communicate the data in an effective and informative manner. Using data, the position advises, supports, makes recommendations and acts as a consultant to college administration, committees and other constituencies.
Working knowledge and application of research techniques, methodology, statistical analysis and interpretation; considerable skill in PC applications as a resource tool; demonstrated ability to lead and conduct research projects and apply analytical and evaluative techniques, formulate conclusions and recommendations; excellent analytical, writing and communication skills are required.
