Job Duties

Your job will be to:
The Research Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading strategic research initiatives and executing that research, while mentoring Analyst-level team members and managing day-to-day activities that meet and exceed client demands.  The PM will not only manage research delivery and execution, drive predictable client experiences with tangible outcomes and ensure high-quality results and deliverables. They will have the opportunity to manage programs and projects end-to-end (strategy to execution), as well as gain depth of expertise across products and clients. The PM must apply strong program and project management standards and best practices to ensure successful execution of projects on scope, on schedule and on budget, always staying on top of shifting priorities across clients and projects.


The Research Project Manager (PM) is responsible for leading strategic research initiatives and programs while mentoring other team members and sharing knowledge and experience.  The PM will manage delivery execution, drive predictable customer experiences with tangible outcomes and high quality. They will manage programs & projects end-to-end (strategy to execution) The PM must apply strong program and project management standards and best practices to ensure successful execution of projects on scope, on schedule and on budget, being always on top of your portfolio of partners.

Job Qualifications

You must have:

·         A bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of demonstrated corporate experience in public relations, market research, political campaigns or a related position in the communications industry

·         Experience executing quantitative and qualitative research studies (hands-on from design through reporting)

·         1-2 years of direct people management experience with strong desire and ability to lead teams

You should also bring:

  • Solid communication, writing and presentation skills; commitment to quality and creativity
  • Superior analytical capabilities; detail-oriented and comfort working with numbers
  • Interest and ability to translate numbers into actionable recommendations for clients
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage full life-cycle of projects
  • Ability to identify risks before they occur and to develop mitigation and avoidance strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication, including strong client-facing presence
  • Exceptional team building and mentoring skills        
  • Broad understanding and experience with the Microsoft Office platform or equivalent      
  • Demonstrated self-sufficiency and ability to “walk in the grey” without precise instruction        
  • Passion for leading-edge tools and technologies      
  • Experience with statistical software (specifically SPSS) is preferable but not required
