Duties/Responsibilities: 

The Director will oversee all reporting, data analysis, decision support and predictive modeling for the Division of Enrollment Management (EM). This position will be at the center of our new Strategic Enrollment Plan, serving a critical role in all reports, modeling, and analysis used to inform decisions across EM. This includes analyzing and forecasting trends in enrollment and admissions that are critical to campus planning and provide decision support to inform strategies. In collaboration with the Assistant Vice Provost and Vice Provost, set priorities and goals that align with the institution’s comprehensive strategic enrollment plan. 

Deliver timely, accurate and relevant data and technologies regarding the recruitment, enrollment and retention of students that allows the University to achieve its strategic goals and initiatives. Responsible for business intelligence, data policies, procedures and standards. Provide data administration expertise. Work closely with Admissions Operations for quality control on reporting. Ensure the necessary reporting structure is developed and implemented to key audiences to inform decisions related to Undergraduate Admissions, University Registrar, Financial Aid and Scholarships and overall student service functions provided by the Enrollment Management Division.

Serve as a member of the Division of Enrollment Management’s Leadership Team and university-wide committees and teams focused on enrollment management planning and initiatives. Serve on data, research and IT-related campus and system-wide committees. Ensure the necessary reports and reporting tools are available to key audiences to inform decisions related to EM. 

Provide leadership and direction to unit, including hiring and supervision of staff, supervision and management of projects and prioritization of data requests. Responsible for budget, hiring, training and professional development of staff/team. Develop and maintain technical staff equipped to support changing business and reporting needs. Manage unit by coordinating, planning and overseeing procedures. Evaluate long-term impact of planning and decisions.

Accountabilities:
• Lead and manage predictive modeling and analysis efforts for the division of Enrollment Management
• Develop and maintain key partnerships in support of strategic planning and operational needs at the University and Divisional level
• Responsible for the development and maintenance of reporting and data analysis operations for the Division of Enrollment Management
• Development of short and long-term strategies that meet the goals of the department and division in alignment with the University’s priorities and mission through collaboration with Enrollment Management and University key stakeholder groups.
• Oversight of implementation of the strategies, measuring effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
• Serve as key partner in contribution to the creation, execution and outcomes of the University’s undergraduate strategic enrollment plan.
• Collaboration with the Office of Information Technology to provide data in support of day-to-day operations.
• Provide data analysis information to leadership to support academic and administrative decisions.
• Leads the delivery of data to key EM leaders to help inform planning and strategic operational priorities.

Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
• A minimum of 5 years of experience performing statistical analysis, predictive modeling, reporting and analysis. 
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience is required.
• Experience using reporting and modeling software, customer relationship management (CRM) and student information systems.
• Evidence of experience with budget oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership of teams and programs with a strong service orientation.
• Demonstrated competence collaborating with students, faculty, staff, administrators and University and College leadership. 
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage the interconnectedness of complex systems including student information systems, customer relationship management systems (CRM), institutional data warehouse structures, etc. 
• History of building collaborative relationships.
• Demonstrated skills and strengths in the generation of reports, projections and predictive models supporting enrollment goals and strategies.
• Ability to analyze and forecast trends in enrollment management.
• Willingness to adapt to new and changing national technology trends.
• Ability to meet critical deadlines with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to provide proactive and student focused solutions to complex operational challenges.
• Expertise in Excel and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree
• Experience in an area related to enrollment management such as Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, One Stop or recruitment is preferred.
