Job Duties

Under general direction of the Vice Chancellor, Educational Services & Institutional Effectiveness, plans, organizes, develops, directs, and integrates District-wide data analytic and research capabilities support­ing strategic planning, budget development, accreditation, program review, enrollment management, student success trend analyses and overall institutional effectiveness research; oversees and participates in the development and maintenance of a robust data warehouse to support District-wide and college decision making on a diverse range of educational and organizational issues; and performs related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Must have evidence of responsiveness to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, as these factors relate to the need for equity-minded practices and
    • A master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social science, data science, mathematics, statistics, economics or other related research field, and four years of increasingly responsible experi­ence designing and administering institutional research and planning programs, including the uses of advanced information technology tools and state-of-the-art statistical software; or
  • Meet the state minimum qualifications for an educational administrator, which include a master’s degree and at least one year of formal training, internship or leadership experience reasonably related to the administrative assignment; or
  • Possess a valid California Community College Supervisory Credential.
