Job Duties
The NALP Foundation seeks a part-time Research Assistant to provide support for Foundation research projects, including data analysis, data compilation and reporting, list management and additional work as requested.
Main responsibilities include assisting with data coding, preparing data tables, charts and graphs for research publications, creating custom reports, and administrative and technical support, including other ad hoc requests.
This part-time contract position reports to the Vice President for Research.
Position Hours: 10 hours per week
Position Start Date: September 15, 2023
Compensation: $25-$35/hour, commensurate with experience. Not benefits eligible.
Location: This is a remote role, and the individual can work from anywhere in the U.S.
Job Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, with a keen eye for accuracy
- Strong analytical skills
- Aptitude for working with numbers and datasets
- Clear and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Familiarity with data analysis software such as SPSS is a plus, but not required
- An ideal candidate will have previous research and data experience
