Application Procedure:
The complete application package must be submitted by 11:59 PM (EST) onl0/25/2024 to receive consideration.

Job Duties
• Manage individual accreditation efforts by compiling, organizing, and presenting institutional assessment data in accordance with Middle States Commission on Higher Education, Joint Staff, or Department of the Army requirements.
• Develop and conduct institutional assessment related research activities.
• Analyze and interpret assessment and survey data and create concise and relevant reports of the analysis to senior leaders.
• Develop and implement policy and program guidance governing the implementation and execution of Knowledge Management initiatives for academic information and materials.
• Serve as the institution's Human Protection Administrator. Manage the human research protection program and train exemption personnel.
• Evaluate program quality and enable continuous improvement of the institution and all academic programs.
• Develop, create, and share reports and dashboards to assist in all levels of academic planning.
• Develop metrics for measuring the effectiveness of a wide range of institutional initiatives.
• Communicate, convey, and visualize informed conclusions and recommendations in a manner to tell the story behind the data.
• Support professional and academic accreditation activities.
• Member of the Assessment Working Group.
• Engage in scholarship that advances knowledge in field of institutional improvement, knowledge management, human research protection, or related topics.
• Provide counsel to staff and faculty on subjects related to institutional improvement and assessment, knowledge management, and human research protection.
• Engage in service (internal and external) in support of institutional missions.
• Teach professional development sessions or electives relating to human research protection, assessment, knowledge management, and/or institutional improvement.
Job Qualifications
This is a full-time term appointment in the excepted service not to exceed 3 years. Appointment may be extended in one- to five-year increments thereafter. As a term employee you will be eligible for medical insurance, life insurance, retirement, dental and vision. You will be eligible to earn annual leave and sick leave.
Qualification Requirements:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position; or Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field; or four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
In addition to meeting the Qualification Requirements above, applicants will be rated on the following:
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR/KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Applicants will be rated on the criteria listed below:
Strong command of the fields of institutional research and academic assessment.
2. Ability to administer graduate education, accreditation, and strategic planning.
3. Ability to manage Human Research Protection and Institutional Review Boards.
4. Skill in the principles of knowledge management.
5. Advanced skills in oral and written communication.
6. Advanced knowledge in statistics and research design.
7. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse set of constituents, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with others.
8. Demonstrated ability to work semi-independently, as well as manage time and projects efficiently and effectively.
9. Academic Accomplishment: Master's degree in a closely related technical field, with a PhD in a closely related technical field preferred.
