Job Duties
Essential Functions
Lead collaborations to evaluate institutional outcomes and identify growth opportunities.
Serve as chief planner for the university.
Interpret and present data to communicate institutional progress and inform decisions.
Analyze and present data through reports, visualizations, and dashboards.
Oversee strategic planning, institutional research, and data-driven assessment towards the improvement of teaching, learning, retention, and student success.
Provide guidance on policy and planning to Cabinet, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
Develop and execute a comprehensive data-governance structure.
Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and quality control policies.
Lead data integration, analytics, and BI to deliver actionable insights.
Coordinate and respond to all state, federal and organizational data requests.
Manage CIERP’s operational functions, including budget management.
Set expectations for departmental communication including maintenance of the CIERP website.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Comply with all State and University policies.
Job Qualifications
• Master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or related field.
• Six years of senior leadership experience, with five in institutional research or higher education.
Preferred:
• Doctorate from an accredited institution.
• Expertise in data analysis, strategic planning, and policy implementation.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft, MS Power BI, Tableau, and AI tools for evaluation and assessment.
