SUNY Cortland
$60,000-$67,800 (Depending on Experience)
The Institutional Research Analyst will support the functions of Institutional Research and Analysis (IRA). In general, IRA provides university-wide data support, reporting and analysis in ways that support the mission of SUNY Cortland. Data used by IRA comes from a variety of sources and systems and is used for multiple purposes, including informing decision making and institutional planning, assisting the evaluation of academic, student support, and administrative programs, fulfilling mandated reporting to internal and external stakeholders, and meeting other data requests.

Job Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree; experience working in higher education; experience with administrative student information systems, preferably Banner; experience with survey design platforms (e.g., SelectSurvey, Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey); experience with SQL or similar programming languages; experience with computer database systems and reporting/extraction tools (eg, Argos); and experience with qualitative techniques of data analysis.
