To be responsible for performing advanced statistical data analysis, create predictive models and collect and analyze data to generate reports in support of the University's strategic goals. To act as a liaison with academic units and administrative departments as the single point of contact for data and analysis needs to support business decisions.
1. Performs advanced statistical and quantitative analyses—using SPSS, SAS, or related software—in order to identify trends, provide comparisons with peers and aspirant peers, and create predictive models to identify and support university strategic goals.
2. Identifies key performance indicators and assists Business Intelligence team with development of new dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reports.
4. Collaborates with Business Intelligence team to provide data training for units.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.
Master's Degree in Math, Statistics, Data Analytics or a related field and three (3) years of related experience required; direct Institutional Research experience preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirements.The ideal candidate should have experience with SQL and analytics with R and/or Python preferred.
