Job Duties

Under the direction of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Associate Provost provides leadership and supervision of accreditation, academic assessment, faculty development, and the management of institutional research functions. The incumbent collaborates with departments, deans, administrators and university committees to coordinate institutional research, assessment, and accreditation activities across the institution. The Associate Provost works with faculty to plan development opportunities and oversees Digital Learning and the Center for Teaching and Learning. The incumbent serves as the WASC Accreditation Liaison Officer (ALO), providing oversight of program reviews and assisting programs and departments in developing and implementing their assessment plans.

Job Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications: Any combination equivalent to: A Master’s degree and a seven years administrative experience in institutional research, outcomes assessment, and accreditation with full-time teaching experience in a regular, ranked faculty position in a regionally accredited college or university.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral Degree
Demonstrated commitment to advancing institutional commitments to inclusive excellence.
