You talk with customers about the data most important to them, what they use it for, and new ways to leverage it. You investigate, analyze, define and produce clear accurate data and data structures. What your day to day looks like…
Talking with customers and internal stakeholders about the data problems our customer need to solve
Conduct a wide variety of survey research and participate in survey construction.
Formulate and prepare responses to internal and/or external requests for institutional data and statistics on a wide range of issues.
Solve complex analytical problems
Some travel involved 10%-25%
What you bring to the table…
A minimum of 7 years of experience in data governance and analysis in Higher Education
The ability to communicate complex, analytical concepts with confidence to a non-technical executive audience
Experience with data mining and data aggregation across a rich, varied data set
Knowledge of SAS programming and/or other software used to manipulate, summarize, and produce reports from multiple, large, complex data sets.
Must have experience in business process analysis, data governance, data architecture design and development as well as the implementation of workflow enabled solutions
Deep understating of institutional research, and a passion for Higher Education, data and systems
Skills and bonus points…
Master’s Degree in related field
Previous experience with Common Data Set, IPEDS reporting, and/or Evisions solutions
Experience at more than one Higher Education institution
