Assists in extracting and compiling data for both internal and external data requests; extracts and compiles data for University personnel , both academic and administrative as well as governmental agencies, accreditation agencies and other public and internal campus requests; provides assistance with the coordination of data collection and reporting for The Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) and the Higher Information System (HEI) for the state of Ohio and other external surveys and responds to ad hoc internal data requests.
No authority or responsibility for the supervision of others; job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc; may occasionally lift very lightweight objects; standard working environment with possible minor inconveniences due to occasional noise, crowded working conditions and/or minor heating/cooling or ventilation problems and near continuous use (>70 % of the time) of a video display terminal.
- Requires a relevant Bachelor's Degree; a minimum of two (2) years experience in database and spreadsheet software, hands-on analysis, including use of statistical and database management software (e.g. SPSS, SAS, OLAP, SQL, Access, Brio, Peoplesoft).
- Strong communication skills along with the ability to work harmoniously and effectively with personnel at all levels of campus required and a high level of organizational accuracy and attention to detail required.
