Job Duties

Primary Duties include:

  • Create, deliver and maintain BI solutions and applications

  • Develop and test Oracle Application Express (APEX) applications and reports

  • Provide end user support for BI tools and applications

  • Create data visualizations, infographics and dashboards

  • Develops technical documentation

  • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SDLC Methodologies

  • Maintain website

  • Must have 2 years of working experience using SQL programming and strong skills in HTML/DHTML and CSS.

Job Qualifications

The preferred candidate will have the following work experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science /Information Systems and 2 years working experience developing web applications or 5 years of relevant technical experience working with web database applications.

  • 2 years’ experience working with Oracle Application Express   

  • Prior experience working at a college or university

  • Oracle database experience (version 10 and above)

  • 2 years working experience using Tableau

The Office of Decision Support Services (DSS) maintains the University Data Warehouse and provides reporting services to the University community.  Our mission is to provide decision makers with accurate and timely information that enables informed decision making.

We are looking to recruit Intermediate Level Analyst Programmer to join our Business Intelligence (BI) team at the Atlanta, GA campus. This position will be responsible for creating and maintaining BI reports, designing dashboards and providing support to end users in the use of various BI tools. The successful candidate will possess a solid knowledge of SQL and experience in creating dashboards and report visualizations. The candidate must also have hands on experience using HTML/DHTML and CSS3. Must be a self-starter, have a flexible attitude with the ability to work in a team environment.
